One can presume that Madame Hemlock didn't know that you were a retired assassin before she cut down the beloved rosebush that brushed up against the border of your property and hers. By the end of her annual summer garden party, however, you intend that she should find out. Violently, if at all possible. 

Unfortunately, it seems that Madame Hemlock happens to run in the same professional circles you once did, and the guest list is full of old colleagues. A conniving, vengeful bunch, many of them seem intent on eliminating certain people from the guest list- one of those people being you. 

Perhaps you should have been nicer to them before your retirement. 

Play cards of poison and mysterious accidents while dodging attacks and enjoying cucumber sandwiches. Your enjoyment of the party, health, and successful murders all count towards your score. 

This game is in no way related, despite its unfortunate and coincidental similarities,  to the recent murder of Mrs. Helmslocke in Tweedsborough.
